BEAR (Berkshire Early Autism Resources)

PDC’s BEAR Program

Our Berkshire Early Autism Resources (BEAR) Program provides intensive therapies to eligible children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) up to three years of age. These enhanced services are provided in conjunction with the early intervention services provided by PDC, and in North County, the UCP Early Intervention program located in North Adams.

The BEAR program is certified by the Mass Department of Public Health as a Specialty Service Provider; this designation enables us to offer intensive programming for eligible children.

Our BEAR staff are trained to recognize the early signs of autism spectrum disorder and can assist families in locating the appropriate medically-trained professionals to make a diagnosis of ASD when needed.

Please review our BEAR Brochure for details on eligibility and approaches to therapy.
