PDC South

PDC South provides Early Intervention services to South Berkshire County.

This includes the towns of Alford, Egremont, Great Barrington, Monterey, Mt. Washington, New Marlborough, Otis, Sandisfield, Southfield, Sheffield, Stockbridge, and West Stockbridge.

Like our “parent program” in Central Berkshire County, PDC South is part of a statewide system in Massachusetts, overseen by the Mass. Department of Public Health to serve infants and toddlers with developmental needs.

PDC South provides family-centered services to help children develop the skills they will need to grow into happy and healthy members of our community.

Our services are provided in children’s homes, day care centers, and at our PDC South playroom at 924 South Main St, Great Barrington.

A child up to three years of age and his/her family may be eligible for EI services if he/she …

  • Is not reaching age-appropriate milestones in one or more areas of development.
  • Is diagnosed with a physical, emotional, or cognitive condition that may result in a developmental delay.
  • Is at risk for developmental delay due to various biological and/or environmental factors.

If you know a child or family who may be in need of early intervention in South Berkshire County, please give us a call to initiate the referral process.

Our intake coordinator will get right back to you with further information and an appointment to meet with you and your child. Call 413-717-4083, or our main Pittsfield office at 413-499-4537.
