We continue to participate in our communities’ efforts to limit the transmission of covid 19 by remaining closed until Monday, May 4, 2020.This closure may need to be extended depending on the situation at the time.
All three facilities are closed, including our Main office at 388 Columbus Ave. Ext., The Farrell Center at 392 Columbus Ave. Ext, and PDC South at 924 South Main St Great Barrington, Mass.
The PDC staff are actively connecting with our clients by providing services to children and families using phone/video communication. These services are referred to as “tele-health services”.
Due to the current state of emergency and unknown time frame for social distancing, we highly encourage families to continue participating with PDC services by using this tele-health model. For more information on how successful and fun these services can be for you and your child, please read more here…
As always, we want to hear from new families and our referral sources who may be interested in accessing early intervention for a child birth to three years.
If you’d like to refer a child, please call our Main office number at 413-499-4537. Please leave your name, the child’s name and date of birth, the town they reside in, and a number where we can reach you.
We will be checking our messages regularly and will respond as soon as we can. We send our warmest wishes to all and hope that you and your loved ones remain safe and healthy.

And the PDC Staff and Board
“PDC went to great lengths to support our family during the time of our son’s surgery. They were caring and understanding about our “ups & downs” during this crisis in our family. We knew we could call them and they would assist us in any way we needed. The communication between our family and PDC was always reliable and understanding. We watched as Ryan’s speech began to come in, with the help of the Therapist, who showed us what to work on to bring in more skills. We are so thankful to all the amazing, encouraging and supportive staff at PDC. At Ryan’s Team meeting at the school, I looked around the room and was amazed at the number of therapists who took the time to be here, to make sure Ryan got the services he needed after age three. Thanks to everyone at PDC from Ryan’s family!”
