Cost

There are no out- of- pocket costs to families for Early Intervention Services.

Early Intervention is a state and federally mandated service paid for by the Department of Public Health, Mass Health, and private insurance companies. Any early intervention service not covered by a family’s insurance will be covered by the Department of Public Health.

PDC is generously supported by the Berkshire United Way, local foundations, private donations, and through fund-raising efforts by the PDC Board.

“PDC went to great lengths to support our family during the time of our son’s surgery. They were caring and understanding about our “ups & downs” during this crisis in our family. We knew we could call them and they would assist us in any way we needed. The communication between our family and PDC was always reliable and understanding. We watched as Ryan’s speech began to come in, with the help of the Therapist, who showed us what to work on to bring in more skills.
